While the pair’s legal team works on the nitty gritty of the divorce, it is now emerging that Guardiola is set to lose a substantial portion of his fortune, estimated to be £100 million as per The Sun.

It is not known if the wealth will be split 50-50, as is the case with most divorces, but Cristiana is reported to have won the first of the wealth sharing battle as she will reportedly keep the couple’s £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona which is located in one of the city’s most exclusive estates.

Guardiola has used the home several times during his stay in Germany while working at Bayern Munich and in England, as a quiet gateway whenever he found some time away from his busy schedule, but he will no longer be using it now.

The Manchester City manager is the highest earning manager in the Premier League with a reported annual salary of €20 million. There are also lucrative bonuses whenever he wins big trophies like Premier League and Champions League.
