Kisii's mother, who was seen being beaten, stole flour, recounts what happened

Kisii – A 34-year-old woman who was attacked by one of her neighbors for allegedly stealing a packet of flour has denied the allegations.

Did the Kisii Woman Steal the Flour?

Faith Kathambi insisted that she never stole two kilos of flour as claimed, adding that she has never wronged anyone since she got married in the village.

He explained that the powder was in the house of the mother of the man who accused him.

“He entered his mother's house, took the flour and brought it close to where I was sitting and then beat me. I have never stolen anything; My only problem is hearing, but I never cause problems,” he said in an interview with Citizen TV.

Kathambi explained that the man has never loved her and often verbally abuses her.

“This man has never loved me. He owns a corn mill, so every time I get there, he insults me,” he said.

What Happened Before Faith Kathambi Was Attacked?

The mother of three said that she was inside her house feeding her little son porridge when the neighbor attacked with a group of people.

“It was about seven in the afternoon and I was in the house feeding my baby porridge. When I looked outside, I saw the man who hit me at the door with several other people. One of those people called my mother-in-law who also entered my house,” he explained.

He continued to explain that the man looked angry, and he saw him talking but could not hear what he was saying because of his hearing problem.

Kathambi noted that the man grabbed her hand and dragged her outside.

“He told my mother-in-law to tell me to get out of the house, and I obeyed, carrying my child towards the door. I saw him talking but I couldn't understand what he was saying. Then suddenly he pulled me by my arms and dragged me towards the field,” he narrated.

The distraught mother said she was dragged to the compound of the man's mother, where she was beaten for a crime she did not commit.

“He dragged me to his mother's compound, and beat me badly. He took the stick he used to beat me and poked it in my head. He was very angry, and I thought he wanted to kill me,” he said.

Eric Omondi He plans to open a business for that woman

In a related statement, TUKO.co.ke reported that comedian Eric Omondi appealed to Kenyans to help him find Kathambi, promising to open a business for him.

Omondi promised to build a big shop for the woman where he would sell flour and other products.

The message was well received by generous Kenyans who flocked to the comment section to share their views.
