A Kenyan man has shared an incident with a figure he befriended, and asked for a favor.

Why did the man refuse to pay the rent?
In a since-deleted post on Reddit, the man said that a woman approached him in a friendly manner, and he accepted.
However, she refused his request to help her prepare food.
“I asked him to cook pancakes for me and he refused”
When the woman asked him to help her, the man also retaliated and refused.
“He asked me to lend him money because his house was about to be closed due to rent debt, but I refused. Now he is angry,” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, the man said the woman changed her mind and said she was going to cook pancakes.
“But they are not worth his rent, so I refused. I have no appetite for pancakes.”
The man added that the act did not come from a place of goodwill.
“That action does not have good intentions. If you have to be late paying taxes to agree to cook chapati, then there is no need.”
He then asked Reddit users if he was a bad person for refusing to help the woman.
