“I am very grateful to the lawyers who came to help me, in just three days, all my tuition and exam fees have been paid, I thank God for them,” he said.

“I am interested in studying law because it hurts me when innocent people are imprisoned because they cannot defend themselves,” Omondi added. “I will even provide pro bono services to those who cannot afford legal representation.”

Omondi also faced backlash when a WhatsApp group he created to seek support for his education was mistakenly reported as spam, although it was eventually reinstated.

Why was Jared Omondi's graduation delayed?

The bodaboda driver was set to graduate in 2017, but obstacles, including losing his job, forced him to abandon his academic ambitions for years.

In 2020, he turned to the boda boda business to support his family.

Despite the difficulty, Omondi remained determined, sharing his journey with those who doubted him, including those who believed he had not even finished primary school.

The payment number is 247247 and the account number is 337983. The account name is JARED OMONDI EDUCATION SUPPORT,” he participated.
