Why Peter Mbae resigned

In his resignation letter dated January 9, addressed to Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Mbae cited unresolved issues.

Mbae resigned from his top post less than a year after his appointment, citing concerns about poor working conditions.

“Despite my love, attention and stability, because of the issues that I have repeatedly brought to you and have not been resolved until today, it has not been possible to carry out my duties as intended by my position as the Head of Government Delivery Services. is no longer used.

“In order to be responsible to the people of Kenya, due to the fact that the nomination was widely publicized, I therefore request to officially dissociate myself from this nomination to pursue other interests,” Mbae said.

Why did former Minister Margaret Ndung'u reject Ruto's nomination

Elsewhere, former ICT Minister Margaret Ndung'u rejected the appointment given to her by President Ruto to be Kenya's High Commissioner to Ghana.

He was expected to appear before the National Assembly's Committee on Defense, Intelligence and Foreign Relations on Friday morning, January 10.

The chairman of the committee, Nelson Koech, who is also a member of parliament for Belgut, told his colleagues that Ndung'u wrote a letter to the clerk of the National Assembly explaining that he could not appear for the investigation and thus take that responsibility.

He cited personal reasons and family commitments as the reason for turning down the job.
