Margaret Ndungu: Sacked ICT Minister Rejects Ruto's Appointment as Kenyan Ambassador to Ghana

Nairobi – Former ICT Minister Margaret Ndung'u has rejected the appointment given to her by the President William Ruto to be the High Commissioner of Kenya in Ghana.

He was expected to appear before the Defense, Intelligence and Foreign Relations Committee, which was vetting nominees for the posts of ambassadors and high commissioners.

The chairman of the committee, Nelson Koech, who is also a member of parliament for Belgut, told his colleagues that Ndung'u wrote a letter to the clerk of the National Assembly, explaining his inability to take on that responsibility.

He cited personal reasons and family commitments as the reason for turning down the job.
