Education Minister Julius Migos Ogamba has officially released the results of the 2024 KCSE exam.

Which famous people in Kenya got A in KCSE?
In his speech on Thursday, January 9, Ogamba disclosed that 962,512 candidates sat for the 2024 KCSE examination, an increase of 6.89% from 2023.
1,693 candidates got an average grade of A, 7,743 got A-, 19,150 got B+, 43,120 got B, 75,347 got B-, while 99, 338 got C+.
Many celebrities in Kenya previously shared their performance in exams but chose to engage in the entertainment industry.
They include:
JB Boxes
The comedian studied at Starehe Boys' Center and School.
JB previously said that he scored goals three series in science.
DJ Creme de la Creme
Real name George Njuguna, DJ was first in primary school.
The entrepreneur continued his excellent performance in high school, scoring an A- in KCSE.
He later attended Kabarak University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Second Class-Upper).
Mulamwah
Graduate of St Anthony's Boys High School Kitale scored A- in KCSE.
Mulamwh scored straight Kama in the subjects of mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry and computers.
He had an A- in Kiswahili and a B+ in English and Christian Religious Education (CRE).
Mulamwah she studied for her Nursing Degree at Moi University and completed her training at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Nimrod Matunda, a lawyer who did his exams at Kakamega High School, said although education is important, KCSE results do not determine one's success in life.
“I can't stress enough the importance of having a paper. However, not everyone is gifted in school.
Ultimately, in my opinion, having street skills is the most important to success,” he told TUKO.co.ke
Carolyne DeMathew celebrates her son's outstanding results
In other news, John Demathew's son, Tyrese Thiiru, is among the candidates who received their KCSE 2024 results.
Expectations were high after his mother, Carolyne, picked him up from school in a horse-drawn carriage after he finished his exams.
A happy Carolyne celebrated her son's results, and one teacher praised his behavior.
