Did Rachel Otuoma visit her husband at the mortuary?
Rachel is living every spouse's nightmare, grieving for her lover, the man who thought they would spend the rest of their lives together.
In one of her updates to the media, Otuoma's widow broke down in tears as she spoke about her husband's lifeless body.
She told of visiting the morgue and seeing him lying lifeless, which broke her heart. He admitted that it was very difficult.
Rachel affirmed her love for her husband, saying that despite death separating them, she still loves him.
“When I looked at him in the morgue… Man, when you lose someone, you'll understand. Right now, if you touch him, he's cold. Those morgue attendants know us. They'd tell me to be strong. They're taking care of him. It's painful to see him lying in the morgue. It's painful to see him put in and out of the fridge.
It's hard. You wish that when he sleeps, he would talk. It's hard to see him sleeping like that. He hasn't changed. He is just sleeping. I wish he would wake up. I told him that I love him very much even when he is asleep,” he said.
