2024 KCSE: Over 200k Candidates Score C+ and Above, Successfully Join Universities

The 2024 KCSE results have been officially released by the Minister of Education Julius Ogamba at the South C Examination Hall, Nairobi, on Thursday, January 9.

This follows the assurance of the Ministry of Education to release the results in the second week of January, despite the long expectation from parents and candidates.

A total of 962,512 candidates took the national exams held in 10,754 centers across the country.

During the announcement, the ministry highlighted the challenges that students faced during their four-year secondary education, including the disruptions caused by floods and droughts. COVID-19.

How many KCSE students got C+ and above?

A number of candidates were successful, with others achieving the coveted A grade, with the majority achieving the highest university entry grade of C+ and above.

According to CS, 246, 391 got university marks, thanks to the new grading system.

Ogamba has congratulated the students for their tenacity and hard work while noting that those who meet the requirements of the university will join various higher education institutions later this year to continue their studies.

The announcement put an end to the worries and rumors that had plagued parents and students, while others expressed their concern over the delay in the release of results.

When did KNEC release KPSEA results?

The results of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) were released on Tuesday night, January 7, through announcements made on Facebook by X and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

Teachers who submitted students for the assessment were advised to download the results and performance reports from the Competency Based Assessment (CBA) website.
