Awuor shared a video of his daughter playing with Kiptum's father, Samson Cheruiyot, at their home in Naiberi, Uasin Gishu County.
In the photos, Cheruiyot, wearing a yellow T-shirt and a blue tracksuit, handed over two bottles of drinking water to his beloved grandson.
He received them before walking together.
“A grandfather's love. It is fully realized,” he captioned the video.
Kiptum's mother visits her parents
In December 2024, the girl visited Kiptum's parents despite being prevented from attending his funeral earlier in the year.
This came after the parents of the marathon legend shared their struggle after his tragic death.
Elder Cheruiyot said they had been planning to talk about their troubles for some time but were stopped, noting that they did not even have a toilet.
However, some Kenyans took the expression of their problems literally, and Awuor cleared the air when he visited.
He also asked God to keep Kiptum's parents strong, admitting that things have not been easy since losing the marathon.
Where did Edna Awuor meet Kelvin Kiptum?
The mother of one came to light in February 2024 when she tried to stop Kiptum's funeral.
He said that they met in high school, and their friendship developed into a romantic relationship.
The young lady revealed that they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl and shared good times till the athlete's last breath.
Netizens compare Edna Awuor with Kelvin Kiptum's wife
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Awuor responded harshly to netizens who compared him to Asenath, wife of the late Kiptum.
This was after he posted a video of him singing along to Oga Obinna's song and appearing to be a liar.
While others praised her for her brilliance, one netizen likened her to Asenath, and said that she was aware that her family recognized her as the wife of the deceased.
