Muchuma sells mandazi for a living

To meet the needs of his family, Muchuma wakes up every morning to prepare and sell mandazi in his village of Kimukungi B.

What started as a necessity has now become her main source of income, enabling her to put food on the table and put her children through school.

“I have been applying for job vacancies in Teacher Training Colleges, hoping for an opportunity, but luck it wasn't on my side,” he complained.

As he continues to persevere, Muchuma hopes that his hard work and dedication to his profession will one day bear fruit.
