Why does Ole Sapit say these are acts of darkness?

“We want to call for an end to the kidnappings we are witnessing; these are acts of darkness, not acts of light,” said Sapit.

“Anyone who is kidnapped in hidden cars or in the dark indicates that we act as agents of darkness. Let us act as agents of light,” he added.
