What happened to him Kalonzo Musyoka In Limuru?

On Sunday, December 22, Kalonzo was shocked after believers abandoned him and left the church in the Limuru constituency despite being the presidential candidate favored by former vice president Rigathi Gachagua.

The former vice president and other opposition politicians attended the service at Life Church.

However, a surprising incident occurred after the worshipers left the church as soon as the politicians began to address the crowd.

The leader of Wiper was surprised by the change, while he remained addressing the empty seats, a situation that forced him and his people to leave and go to Limuru town, where there was a bigger crowd.

Speaking in Limuru, the Wiper leader asked the President William Ruto reconstitute the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) as soon as possible.

Kalonzo threatened to lead protest of the public if the government fails to reconstitute the IEBC by March 2025.

“Some came saying they are God's people, but their actions show otherwise. You will recognize them by their fruits, as the Bible says. They call others demons and are angry with the whole country. We have no right to say we have a democratic country without IEBC. We have given the government until March; if there is no IEBC, we will go to the streets,” Kalonzo said.

Former Kiambu governor Ferdinand Waititu, Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo, and former Limuru MP Peter Mwathi joined other leaders to march with the Wiper leader.
