Newspapers: Try To Get To Mt Kenya When There Is Betrayal, Gachagua Tells Ruto

The publication reported on former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua continuing to attack the administration of President William Ruto.

Speaking in Nakuru county on Sunday, December 22, Gachagua accused Ruto of betraying Mt Kenya region despite getting millions of votes from the region.

Gachagua dared to return to the area and tell the people why he betrayed them despite many votes for him in 2022.

According to Gachagua, since his removal from power, the president has avoided visiting some areas of Mount Kenya.

“I have seen that President Ruto has decided to avoid visiting parts of Mount Kenya, he had said he would come but I hear he has postponed those visits to next year, he should come and answer some questions from the people. until you vote for them, they are waiting for you, to ask difficult questions,” Gachagua said.

The newspaper reported on the ongoing investigation after three suspects robbed two travelers who were heading to Mombasa from Nairobi.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, the two were waiting for a coastal bus in the Mlolongo area when a private car appeared and gave them a lift.

“After boarding the car, the passengers who turned into robbers when they arrived at Simba Cement, Athi River, took out knives and held them hostage. The victims were blindfolded and tied with ropes before being searched and their property stolen,” information from DCI it read.
