How much did Zakir Khosla pay Diamond Platnumz?

After refusing to go on stage at Tamasha La Furaha earlier this month, the artist faced criticism and shared a long video explaining the reasons for his absence.

According to Diamond, he waited in his car for several hours waiting for his chance to perform, but it never came.

Diamond revealed that he was paid KSh 19.4 million to perform and will not return the money.

“I will not return it to you because you destroyed the contract,” he said.

On Saturday, December 21, Diamond performed at the wedding of the son of Mombasa's richest man, Imran Khosla, Zakir.

The lavish wedding was attended by Kenyan celebrities, including the President William RutoMinister Aden Duale, Governor Abdulswamad Sheriff Nassir, and other politicians.

Zakir was accompanied by several artists Bongoincluding Nandy and D Vice.

Diamond arrived at the wedding venue in a Mercedes Benz G Wagon, followed by a Mombasa County inspection vehicle and other luxury SUVs.

Wedding guests flocked to the artist, who wore a stunning crimson dress as they posed for selfies.

Kenyan political analyst, Cassy Pool, was praising the artist.

“Say hello to Mother Samia Suluhu. I love you so much. You are the Lion of East and Central Africa, others are nothing.”

Cassy Pool began to forcibly remove people, telling them to feed the artist.

“Slowly,” his manager warned him.

Diamond surprised many after revealing the amount he was paid to perform.

“I love Kenya more. 1 million dollars for a wedding show in Mombasa. Succeed and you will see. Alhamdulillah,” he wrote.
