When the incident happened, Bundi was riding a bicycle more than 25 kilometers from Keugoya with his friend to go swimming in the river. Bundi's mother, who was sad, recalled how she received the sad news over the phone.
“I received a phone call and was told that my son had slipped and drowned in the water. I haven't seen him yet and I don't know where he is. We looked for him in the water but we didn't find him. We were living with him in peace. He didn't tell me that he was going to the place I left him at home,” he said.
