Bungoma – The family of the speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula is mourning the death of their matriarch.

Mama Anne Nanyama Wetang'ula was declared dead on Friday, December 20.

Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka shared the sad news, praising the deceased as a “wonderful community motivator and mentor.”

The county head sent his condolences to the Speaker of the National Assembly and his relatives, among them Westlands MP Tim Wanyonyi.
