Kaka and Nana had been married for 13 years, and both shared that they mutually agreed to separate and focus on raising their children.

In an interview on Baze Radio via TikTokNana said that she is still struggling and noted how Kenyans made her the talk of the town for the wrong reasons.
However, she did not explain in detail why she and her ex-husband decided to end their marriage.

“It's one of the hardest and best years; it's the scale. The scale is a false concept the more you try to follow it, the more it keeps eluding you. Do what you can. God has been amazing; He's given me clarity in the middle of the storm. You guys made it a conversation for me. It's you all of you talking about me. I was never famous in Kenya.
