Nairobi: Bishop Ben Kiengei and the Jesus Compassion Ministry (JCM) are mourning the death of their pastor Peterson Mwangi.
In a message on Facebook, Kiengei said Mwangi was a pastor at the JCM Mtwapa Church, Mombasa, and his body was found in his father's farm.
He pointed out that the young man had some challenges before he died.
“Even if it was your last, fighting at the top, someone would hear you. A young soul is gone, with promise in service and a bright spirit,” he said.
“When I received a call from your wife, I thought you were somewhere praying or perhaps visiting a friend, but finally I found out that you committed suicide a few days ago. Your lifeless body was lying in your father's farm in Sagana,” he added.
Kiengei, in pain, wondered why Mwangi left Mombasa to die in Kirinyaga. He wished that the deceased would talk to anyone about his problems.
“One day stress will also get you stress. Rest in peace brother,” said Kiengei.
