1 person dies, several injured after cars collide on the highway

How did the White House crash happen?

The accident was reported to involve two Toyota Corolla cars, a private car, three of Sacco of 3NS, two trucks, and two other small vehicles.

The Nakuru Sub-County Police Commander, Mohamed Wako, confirmed the incident, explaining that a truck that was heading towards Nakuru town had a brake failure, which caused it to collide with other vehicles.

He said the accident caused the death of one person, seven people were seriously injured, and seven others were slightly injured.

All the injured were taken to the Nakuru Regional Referral Hospital, where they are receiving treatment

“In addition to one passenger who died, seven other passengers were reported seriously injured. Seven others suffered minor injuries. All were rushed to the hospital and are receiving treatment. The body was transferred to the same hospital, awaiting identification and autopsy,” Wako said.

Residents gathered at the accident site, with some of them trying to help the accident victims before the police arrived.

This accident follows a fatal accident that occurred at the Olonini Bridge along the Narok-Bomet Highway on Saturday, December 14, which killed six people and left 26 others with serious injuries.

The accident involved a Narok Line tricycle and a Mesabisabi High School bus.
