The preacher complained that few people attended the vigil service on Friday.

“Why are you so free? Sometimes I feel like I look down on you guys. Why do you sleep on Fridays while I'm here? How do you sleep?”

He then said that many people in the church were young but had the courage to not attend church while he, the preacher, stayed up all night.

“You are rude people. There is no money. You cannot be used as examples of God's people.”

Ng'ang'a said despite having many partners, the donation they gave was very little.

“You cannot give KSh 1 million a week. It usually reaches between KSh 50,000 and 70,000. The TV station costs us KSh 450,000.”
