The Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communication and The Digital Economy, Dr. Margaret Nyambura Ndungu, had a meeting with Mr. Bill Baraza and Mr. Leonard Mabele of AFRALTI on Monday, 16th. December 2024,.
During the discussions, they reflected on AFRALTI’s longstanding relationship with Kenya, which has hosted the institute since 1989. AFRALTI informed the CS about its strategic shift from traditional capacity-building programs to cutting-edge research in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. Going forward, AFRALTI will engage with global partners and looks forward to a close partnership with the Ministry to advance Kenya’s digital innovation agenda.
