Enock Kiprop was 12 years old when he disappeared from his home in London.

The aunt, Sally Korua, told TUKO.co.ke that Kiprop went out to play while waiting for his mother to get ready because they were going out together.

However, later he was nowhere to be seen, forcing his mother to leave with her three sisters, hoping she would find him when she started to return.

“The child was under my care; I attended to him on behalf of his mother, my elder sister Maureen Korua. They were supposed to go out with his mother and his sisters that Sunday at two o'clock in the night. He asked permission to go out to play while his mother and sisters they were getting ready, but he didn't come back,” he explained.

Korua said they searched for Kiprop in every part of the city and reported him missing in three different police stations, but so far he has not been found after four years.

“We talked to the friends he was playing with but they had not seen him. We went to the police station but until today he has never been found,” he said.

He revealed that his sister Maureen suffered from depression and, at one point, plunged into alcoholism out of self-blame.

According to him, Kiprop's mother blames herself for losing her child and breaks down crying every time she calls home.

“The mother got depressed, and she continued to blame herself for losing her son. She is currently not in the country. We had to help her get out so she could calm down, but she cries and remembers her son every time she calls home,” Korua said.
