The deceased, identified as Everlyne, was living with her alleged lover, Felix Amanga, for at least two months.

According to neighbors, the grim discovery came after Felix sent a disturbing message to the homeowner, confessing to killing Everline in a fit of rage.

Amanga claimed he was being looked down upon, leading to his misbehavior before fleeing the area.

“The message said that he killed her unconsciously because he felt disrespected in the house,” Andrew Andreya, the owner of the house, revealed.

Everlyne's decomposed body was found locked inside the house, raising questions about when the crime took place.

Neighbors revealed that the couple had a habit of returning home at night and seemed to live privately.

“Sometimes I wake up and find they're already gone, so I just know they're out. But when I came back yesterday, I only saw a padlock on the door,” the landlord added.

The relationship between the deceased and his alleged killer

Mercyline Andeya, a neighbor, noted that Everlyne had recently moved into the plot, but was not married to her suspected killer.

“The girl used to live in Musanda, and she usually does not live where she died. She had come to this plot less than a month ago,” Mercyline said.

Another neighbor speculated on the nature of their relationship, suggesting they might have had an illicit relationship.

“But apparently he was her lover because she didn't have any children with him,” he suggested.

The suspect remains unknown, but in his message to the homeowner, he wrote that he surrendered himself to the authorities but has not yet done so.
