Three people are seeking to succeed former Chadian prime minister Moussa Faki, who has held the post of AUC chairman for eight years.
Raila Odinga of Kenya, Mahamoud Youssouf of Djibouti and Richard Randriamandrato of Madagascar are the candidates who want to lead the secretariat of the African Union (AU).
The three met in Addis Ababa on Thursday, December 12.
