Boni Khalwale warns William Ruto, asks him to fulfill the promises he made to Kenyans: “Focus on performance”
Writing on social media, the former Nyeri Town MP claimed that Uhuru's involvement in the differences between Ruto and Gachagua will further divide Mount Kenya.
“Sir, if you return to politics, you will find yourself facing the current political leadership, and you will divide Mlimi again when we are recovering,” Ngunjiri said.
Ngunjiri reminded Uhuru that about 47% of Mount Kenya residents refused to follow his political advice in the 2022 General Election.
He said that the former president should allow Gachagua to continue uniting the region, considering the great support he got in 2022.
“47% of this government is from Mount Kenya despite your and my efforts to convince them otherwise, let's respect that decision. They chose Rigathi Gachagua instead of Martha Karuawho was your choice, let's respect that decision. Sir, if you cannot help Rigathi Gachagua to consolidate this area, then stay away and let him do it. If he falls, fine, but please don't participate in dividing our territory more than it has been divided,” he explained.
