Kericho Family Celebrates Their Boy's Circumcision with a Grand Parade, Big Party

The last quarter of the year 2024 witnessed many boys from the Kalenjin community being circumcised as part of the ritual to take them out of childhood and into adulthood.

Shadii, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Metroplex company, along with other family members, decorated the city with black and white cars with high fuel consumption.

The handsome Kipkurui sat on top of one of the cars wearing a white shirt and well-tailored trousers, basking in his glory in front of everyone.

A whole convoy of black luxury cars drove down behind him, leaving many in Kiptalamwa village in awe.

“People enjoyed the food prepared since yesterday, December 7, and until today they still hadn't finished it. There was music, and people filled the dance floor to dance for him, led by an entertaining MC,” Nicholas Kip, one of the attendees, told TUKO.co.ke.

In other news, a 65-year-old man from Nyeri was circumcised after it was discovered that he had not experienced the traditional ritual.

The man's condition came to light after his girlfriend reported him to the elders of the community, revealing that he was never involved in the practice during his youth.

The revelation surprised the elders of the community, especially since the man was already part of the council of elders of the community, a position usually reserved for those who have undergone circumcision.
