Stephanie's father, Bishop Allan Kiuna, died of cancer in July while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital.

His death left many in his church and Kenyans in general shocked as they sent their condolences to his family and his followers.

Why did Stephanie Kiuna not attend her father's funeral?

On her YouTube channel, Stephanie broke down in tears, recounting her failed attempts to make it to her father's funeral.

“There's no place on God's green earth I'd rather be at my father's funeral. Like no place on earth. So to the question of whether we had a beef? No. I've never had a beef with my father ever. I couldn't 'Number one, he totally understood, which is very important, and it was things to do with my Australian visa that made me unable to be there he said.

Stephanie added that they tried to talk to everyone who could help, but nothing worked, forcing her to stay in Australia.

“It was hard; it's still hard to even talk about it. I mean, we were close too, and no one wants to miss that. It was completely out of my control. We did everything we could; there was no one we didn't talk to, and there was no one we didn't try to convince that there is nothing we have not done.

How life has changed for him

Stephanie also noted that she misses her father and how life has changed for her since her father died.

“Life is so different without him. It's like those times when you want to talk to him, but he's not there. And you want advice and he's not there. So those times are hard. The last time I saw him was Christmas, and now it's coming, and I'm already like, how do I put it my Christmas tree the last time he was here, and we were putting it together with him,” he added.
