However, when TUKO.co.ke told her story after moving from a financially prosperous family to becoming a domestic helper, a good Samaritan reached out to her and asked her what she needed.

“Through TUKO.co.ke, a good Samaritan called me after reading my story and asked me what kind of help I wanted. He is an old man, a stranger, I have never met him or seen him. After a few months, I told him I needed KSh 150,000 in school fees from my son,” he narrated.

The stranger did not hesitate or doubt him as he sent the entire amount without expecting any payment.

According to Mirriam, the kind visitor was sent by God, and she will always be grateful to him because he used part of the money to receive Arabella in school and also to start his restaurant business.

“First he sent me KSh 5,000 to confirm if his account can send money to Kenya and then he used the remaining money like that. That's how I sent my son to school and used part of the money to start my business, Asili Kitchen,” he added.
