Nakuru – CCTV footage has emerged showing a fierce fight between the priest of the Jesus Compassion Ministry Elias Mutugi Njeru and his wife Florence Wanjiku Gichohi.
This happens when a Nakuru businessman is hospitalized with injuries allegedly caused by her ex-husband.
Florence's last moments before the attack
The video footage started in an entertainment area, where the two were caught talking.
Later, Florence left the club in her Toyota Succeed and headed to her home, where she hugged her bodyguard before leaving.
Moments later, Njeru arrived at the parking lot in a Land Cruiser and was seen talking to the security guard before Florence returned.
The next few minutes were full of drama, as Florence reversed her car and hit Njeru's car twice.
Quickly, Njeru approached him, turned off his car, and took the keys before getting back into his car.
CCTV footage provides new direction in the ongoing case
However, it is important to note that TUKO.co.ke cannot confirm whether the video was recorded on the night of the incident or another day.
The public information is that Florence was rushed to Optimum Hospital with serious injuries.
She told the media that Njeru stabbed her 18 times at their home in Rongai, Nakuru, after discussions about business and personal matters escalated.
While in bed in the hospital, he explained how their relationship was troubled, mentioning the previous attempts to break the relationship met with resistance from Njeru.
If the video was recorded on the same day, it may contradict his previous account and shed new light on the sequence of events that led to the brutal attack.

At the same time, Pastor Njeru surrendered at the Police Station of Nakuru on Monday, November 25, accompanied by his lawyer from Gakuhi Chege and Associates Advocates.
