“The last time we were here, the former Deputy President promised to contribute to the construction of the church for painting and windows. Why did the Catholic Church reject the contribution of William Ruto?

Speaking to the faithful, Thang'wa acknowledged the concerns of the community, noting that the Catholic Church rejected the contribution of President William Ruto.

He said that Kenyans often view such donations with suspicion, wondering if the money allegedly taken from them is being returned as a gift.

“We were afraid because someone sent money to the church and it was rejected. While I was talking to someone, he explained to me that you cannot accuse someone of stealing your goat and then later bring you bread and food for your children. Either they try to bewitch you or bribe you to forget. Before accepting any gift, first resolve preliminary charges,” he said.
