Nairobi: Employees of the National Airports Authority (KAA) danced to celebrate following the President's announcement William Ruto to stop the Adani program.
Why did Ruto cancel Adani Group contracts?
Adani's partnership with KETRACO and the National Airports Authority (KAA) aimed to rehabilitate the power supply infrastructure and JKIA, respectively.
Ruto, in his State of the Nation address before the two houses of parliament on Thursday, November 21, mentioned the concerns raised about the Indian company, further quoting lawyers from the investigators.
Adani Group's upcoming contracts with the Kenyan government have been suspended following Ruto's order.
In a video shared by Shujaa Humprey, KAA staff are seen dancing and singing happily afterwards. They also prayed fervently with grateful hearts after learning that.
“There is no God like you,” the workers shouted out.
