According to the publication, the State House has sent delegates to contact the former Nyeri senator and other leaders from the Jubilee party in the hope of reaching an agreement.

Ruto said he canceled the agreements after his administration received new information from partner countries and investigative agencies.
The president's speech came a few hours after Wandayi defended the Adani-KETRACO plan to create new water supply lines in Parliament.
The minister emphasized that the program will continue despite Gautam Adani being charged in the United States with allegations of bribery.
A month ago, Raila also strongly defended the Adani Group, emphasizing the group's track record and ongoing interest in Kenya, which dates back to 2010.

President William Ruto has accused the management of Moi University for the financial problems of the public institution.
During his speech to the nation on Thursday, November 21, in front of members of parliament, Ruto claimed that the college's problems stem from internal governance and leadership issues.
The President ordered the immediate resolution of the challenges facing the public university, which was on the verge of collapse.
This happened after the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education (PS) Beatrice Inyangala told MPs that Moi University will save KSh 50 million every year by closing its Nairobi campus.
On Wednesday, November 20, EACC summoned the university's VC, Isaac Kosgei, after he was suspected of misappropriating KSh 2.2 billion through infrastructure projects and violating procurement laws.

Somalia, a member of the East African Community (EAC), will defy the ban and vote for Raila's main rival, Mahmoud Youssouf, Djibouti's Foreign Minister.
Raila is running against Youssouf, former Mauritian foreign minister Anil Kumarsingh Gayan, and former Madagascar minister Richard James Randriamandrato in the February 2025 election.
