Isaac Wekesa, popularly known as “Goliath of Bungoma” left the faithful in shock after fainting during the prayer led by Pastor Victor Kanyari.
The incident happened during a recent service at the Kanyari church in Nairobi.
Wekesa, who is over seven feet tall and is known for his imposing presence, was visibly moved during the passionate prayer session.
Pastor Kanyari was praying and asking the Holy Spirit to move Wekesa with strength when he began to sway before falling to the ground.
The congregation was shocked as ministers and fellow believers ran to check on Wekesa's well-being.
Pastor Kanyari, known for his controversial deliverance services, was not fazed by the uproar.
The priest declared the violent event to be of God while Wekesa regained consciousness shortly after.
Pastor Kanyari's prayer sessions often attract mixed reactions, with some praising his charisma and others questioning his methods.
According to his teachings, fainting is a sign of spiritual success, and when those he prays for fall to the ground, it usually means the chains that hold them back are broken.
