Nakuru – Some residents of Nakuru county have vowed not to vote for the President William Ruto in the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking on Thursday, November 21, the residents revealed that they have lost faith in the president.

One resident claimed that Ruto has failed to fulfill many of his 2022 campaign promises; therefore, it will be difficult to convince Kenyans in 2027.

He wondered on what basis the leader of Kenya First he would make another promise yet he has not fulfilled the previous ones.

“Ruto, Kenyans' faith in you has completely disappeared; I don't know what you will tell the people in your 2027 campaign. Because you have not fulfilled what you promised the people, and now when you come to the next campaign, what will you do? promises and you have not fulfilled the previous promises?” a resident took a picture.

Another resident criticized the increase in the cost of living under Ruto's administration.

He narrated how bodaboda drivers are suffering despite Ruto's promise to support Mama Mboga and bodaboda drivers.

The enraged resident slammed the MPs for allegedly lying to the President that everything was fine, but the common citizen was suffering every day.

“To tell the truth, Kenyans are suffering. Ruto promised to support Mama Mboga and the boda boda drivers, but they are all suffering. That is why MPs are afraid to come to the grassroots. Right now it is still a problem for someone to earn even KSh 200. MPs are lying to the president that the economy is fine,” he said .
