Silvano Kipraisi Tubei, former Director General of Kerio Valley Development Authority (KVDA), disappeared in 2012.
His case remained a mystery until his remains were discovered earlier this year, ending a 12-year manhunt.
In what can be called a long awaited fate, Tubei will be buried in his Mogorwa residence in Tenges Ward, Baringo County.
Advertisement published in the newspaper Daily Nation on Tuesday indicated that the funeral will take place on Friday, November 22.
The discovery of his remains earlier this year has brought mixed feelings to the family and community.
While it marks the end of a long search, it also revives the memories of a man whose contributions to public service were recognized by many.
Tubei disappeared in mysterious circumstances in 2012, leaving behind a history of major development projects during his tenure at KVDA.
During his tenure, Tubei oversaw transformational projects in the Kerio Valley region.
