Kericho: 2 Security Guards Found Dead Following Robbery

Kericho – Tragedy struck Nyamanga village in Roret, Bureti sub-county, after two night watchmen in the Roret Coffee Cooperative Association were found murdered in the community's coffee store on Sunday, November 17 night.

The guards were reportedly tied up and brutally beheaded and died on the spot.

Residents suspect that the attackers were coffee skin thieves who escaped with an unknown number of bags of dried coffee.

A witness recounts the events that led to the killing of the guards

According to the report Citizen Digital, A witness who lives near the cooperative reportedly saw people transporting leather bags of coffee from community shops, raising fears after discovering the unusual activity.

After finding out that they have been seen, it is said that the suspects followed him, but he escaped and gave information to the authorities.

Investigating the scene, officers found abandoned bags, which may have been left behind as the suspects fled.

The manager immediately reported the incident to the Roret Police Station for further investigation.
