How did Chepkorir get a chance at USIU?

Chepkorir, a disabled girl from West Pokot county, scored a C+ in KCSE, but when others joined university, she stayed at home for lack of tuition.

Like many students from poor families, Chepkorir applied for funding from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), but his application was rejected.
