Arusha – Police in the northeast Tanzania they investigate an incident in which a man suddenly dies in a mysterious way.
Silasi Ndosi, a resident of Shangarai in Arumeru district, Arusha region, was found dead, with injuries to his chest and back.
What the Police Said About a Man Found Dead in Arusha
The deceased was bleeding from the nose, ears, and mouth.
Arusha Regional Police Commander, Justine Masejo, confirmed the incident as reported by Mwananchi.
Masejo explained that Ndosi's body was found in the early hours of November 12 at his home in Shangarai.
“The body of the deceased has been kept at the Mount Meru Regional Hospital for further investigation to determine the cause of his death while the investigation continues,” he said.
The brother of the deceased, Elibariki Ndosi, said he found his brother dead at dawn on Tuesday.
They had come from a neighboring tragedy; he did not show any signs of pain.
“We were with him yesterday until five o'clock at night at the neighbor's funeral where we participated in all the activities of the tragedy from digging the grave to burying our neighbor and he returned home to sleep healthy,” he said.
Ndosi confirmed that he found the body of his younger brother with injuries, confirming the information given by the police.
“My brother lived alone, he came directly to sleep; we did not hear any problem; what surprises us is to find him dead, a confusing death. We ask the police and doctors to conduct a thorough investigation,” he said.
He added that the deceased had no quarrel with anyone except his ex-wife, with whom he had two children and divorced.
