Oscar Sudi criticized Archbishop Antony Muheria

On Thursday, November 14, Catholic bishops denounced the President's government William Ruto for the failure of Kenyans due to the increase in corruption and kidnapping.

Responding to the criticism, The Kapseret MP yelled at him Archbishop of Nyeri Archdiocese Anthony Muheria.

In a Twitter message, Sudi said Archbishop Muheria has no moral authority to criticize the administration of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

“It is surprising to see Archbishop Anthony Muheria preaching the gospel on the one hand and supporting tribalism on the other. Muheria does not have the moral authority to criticize the current administration because it is the same as saying twice,” Sudi said.

According to Sudi, the archbishop never criticized the administration of former president Uhuru Kenyatta despite his alleged failure to serve Kenyans.

“The priest has a record of supporting the previous administration even when it was clear that it failed Kenyans and he must have enough courage to stay away from tribal politics,” he added.

His sentiments follow a public speech by the bishops of the Catholic Church on Thursday, November 14, where they accused the government of promoting a culture of deception.
