How did Moses Kuria praise Raila Odinga?

In his speech, Kuria praised Raila Odinga, the chief guest, highlighting his commitment to African unity and praising his leadership style.

Kuria showed faith and determination Raila to be the chairman of the African Union Commission (AUC), citing him as a selfless leader committed to the interests of Kenya and Africa.

The event also witnessed the presence of other members of the UDA, including Johnson Sakaja of Nairobi and former Minister Aisha Jumwa who expressed their support for Raila Odinga's bid to become the AUC chairman.

However, prominent ODM figures, including Suba South MP Caroli Omondi and Lang'ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, also known as Jalas, did not attend.

At the same event, former Cabinet Minister Aisha Jumwa indicated her intention to run for the Kilifi governor seat in 2027.

Jumwa explained that he attended the thanksgiving ceremony at the invitation of Governor Gladys Wanga, seeing it as an opportunity to learn from Wanga, who praised him as one of the governors who did well in Kenya.

When asked about the possibility of rejoining ODM, Jumwa responded diplomatically, saying that he had chosen a different path for his political journey.
