However, speaking in Kawaha West on Sunday, November 10, Gachagua insisted that he was sacked for defending Kenyans against the government's oppression. Kenya First.

“They accused me because I opposed the oppression of Kenyans. If that was my fault, I accept it. We had promised Kenyans that no one would be forcibly deported without being paid fair compensation. Today, I am happy that the court recently decided to deport Kenyans. They must be paid, showing that they agree with me, ” Gachagua said.

The dismissed vice president explained that one of the accusations made against him during his motion to be removed from power was opposing the government to demolish people's houses.

Gachagua praised the court following the recent decision of Judge Ann Mogeni, who ordered the government to compensate the residents of the slums of Mathare, Gwa Kairu, Mukuru Kwa Ruben and Kiamaiko, who were evicted from their homes due to the losses they suffered.

“I saw that the court ruled that the people whose houses were demolished should be paid, which means that I was confirmed and won,” he said.

Meanwhile, Laikipia senator John Kinyua publicly apologized to the President William Ruto after reflecting on his previous vote against the dismissal of the former vice president.

Speaking during the Ol Pejeta Park's 20th anniversary celebrations on Saturday, November 9, Kinyua suggested that after investigation, he understood the reasons for Gachagua's removal.
