Another Suspect of Willis Ayieko's Murder Arrested by DCI: “He Was Tortured and Killed at Home”

Siaya – The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has taken a major step in solving the murder case of Willis Ayieko, a Human Resources manager at Wells Fargo, by arresting the main suspect.

How is Duncan Onyango linked to Willis Ayieko's death?

In a statement on Friday, November 8, the DCI disclosed that they arrested Duncan Onyango, alias Otuch, from his hideout in the sub-county of Bondo.

Detectives claim that another prime suspect identified Onyango's house as the place where Ayieko was tortured and killed.

“Duncan Onyango, popularly known as Otuch, was arrested from his hideout in Bondo sub-county. Detectives investigating the case conducted a scene-scene exercise with one of the suspects arrested earlier, who identified Duncan Onyango's house as the place where the victim was tortured. and killed,” DCI he said.

According to the DCI, Ayieko's body was found less than 400 meters from Onyango's house, located in Luanda Doho, the county of Kakamega.

“The body of the deceased was found less than 400 meters from the suspect's house which is located in Luanda Doho, Kisa Mashariki, Kakamega County. The suspect is being processed to be brought to court,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, Fredrick Otieno Omondi, a bodaboda driver from Poisonouswas detained on suspicion of involvement in the events that led to Ayieko's death.

Detectives claim that Omondi played a key role in transporting the first suspect, Victor Ouma Okoth, to the location where Ayieko was later abducted.
