A Migori Teacher Who Receives a Salary of KSh 15k Builds a Beautiful Mud House for His Parents in the Village

Daniel Ravonga Sendi wished to build a house for his parents and it is fulfilled by the development of the structure.

The 24-year-old boy who graduated from College University of St. Last year Paul was lucky enough to get a teaching job paying KSh 15,000 every month.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Ravonga revealed how much money he earns, noting that he sacrificed himself for the project.

“I earn KSh 15,000 a month, but I intended to build a proper house for my parents. The little money I get from the private school I teach did not stop me from pursuing my dream. I had to sacrifice a lot of money to save enough for the project. Thank God I have built a mud house for them for KSh 90,000 which is better than what they lived in,” he said happily.

Ravonga said he is not done yet as he wishes to build a permanent home for his parents despite the efforts he put into their current home.

The house does not yet have windows and a door, which he said will be added soon.

She also took on a part-time role as a carer in a nursing home, adding an additional KSh 68,000 to her monthly income.

He built a house for his parents and bought them a car, gestures that met with a lot of gratitude and he was proud.
