Raphael Obego: Homa Bay Pastor Who Broke Ruto Mbabu With Hot Words Dies

Fever Bay – The Homa Bay county government is in mourning following the death of Reverend Raphael Obego, the chief priest of the county.

Governor Gladys Wanga confirmed the news on her social media, remembering Reverend Obego as a compassionate leader whose guidance, steadfast faith, and positive attitude touched many.

He prayed for his legacy to continue.

“Today, we are deeply saddened by the death of our dear friend and the Chief Pastor of the County, Pastor Raphael Obego. Pastor Raphael touched our lives with his compassion, guidance, steadfast faith and positive attitude. His integrity in serving the county government and the people of Homa Bay will be remembered forever.

Pastor Obego became famous in February 2024 when he made fun of President William Ruto and other officials during the International Investment Conference in Homa Bay.

The officers could not help but laugh because of his use of hot vocabulary while he was praying. The cause of his death is unknown.

Pastor of SDA who was returning home from church died

In a separate incident, another pastor sadly died a few hours after kinvolvement in a road accident in Oyugis.

The preacher was returning to Rangwe from the church when his motorcycle collided with another that was leaving Kisii.

His sister told TUKO.co.ke that he was scheduled to seal his marriage on the day of his death.

Known for his dedication to preaching, he had recently been offered a preaching and conference placement before completing his studies at the College. University of Bugema.
