A video has surfaced online showing the former vice president Rigathi Gachagua looking lonely while others mingled after the funeral service.

Rigathi was removed from power on October 17 after the Senate voted overwhelmingly to remove him from office.

Why do Kenyans sympathize with Rigathi Gachagua?

The politician was among the distinguished guests who attended the funeral of Lucy Wambui, who died after botched plastic surgery.

In a video shared by influencer Bernice Saroni, Gachagua was seen sitting in the middle of people who were talking.

However, he was photographed with his head bowed in thought, while the music of the language of Kikuyu while you are knocking in a low voice.

What Rigathi said at Lucy's funeral

The former deputy president praised Lucy's husband, Francis Ng'ang'a, for being a strong businessman and inspiring many.

While consoling the family, the veteran politician talked about the positive side of his removal from power, saying that he now has time to be with his family and friends.
