A second autopsy conducted by government pathologist Johansen Oduor has shown that Lucy Wambui Ng'ang'a died as a result of cosmetic surgery.

What did the autopsy of Lucy Wambui say?
The first autopsy was conducted by Peter Ndegwathe pathologist who contacted Body By Design, the facility that performed the gastric bypass surgery on Wambui.
Ndegwa's report showed that there were signs of dissection, and the cause of death was determined to be respiratory failure.
“The circumstances of this death need to be investigated to determine where and when the alleged perforation (if any) of the intestines occurred,” Ndegwa concluded.
In his post-mortem report, the state's chief pathologist confirmed that Wambui underwent cosmetic surgery and ruptured his intestine.
He had problems within two days and was finally admitted to the Hospital Nairobi having high blood pressure and being diagnosed with an infection.
Wambui underwent emergency surgery but died on October 26.
Oduor's report, which included a detailed description of Wambui's physical condition, said the abdominal wounds from the previous dissection were fecal and oozing.
His heart was enlarged, and his liver showed signs of fatty degeneration, all indicators of systemic stress caused by infection or physical injury.
Wambui was also found to have pulmonary edema, abdominal fat, and widespread inflammation, as well as multiple abscesses indicative of infection.
How did Francis Ng'ang'a remember his wife?
Wambui's funeral service is currently underway in Limuru. Her husband, Francis Ng'ang'a, shared a touching memory, saying they got married in 2003.
He added that he and Lucy had two children together and attributed the success of their business to him.
