How was Stanley Kipterer attacked?
The officer, Stanley Kipterer, left his home at around 4.30 am on Sunday, November 3, and headed to the nearest Mpesa shop to deposit KSh 1,500.
According to the report Citizen Digital, three men followed him and hit him on the head with a blunt instrument before stabbing him.
Due to his injuries, the officer dropped his guard, allowing the attackers to take the KSh 1,500 he intended to keep along with his mobile phone.
They left him in critical condition on the side of the road, where passers-by found him and rushed him to the hospital Nairobi West, where he continues to receive treatment.
Doctors reported that Kipterer is in good condition.
A Siaya police officer is attacked, killed by bandits
In a different case, a police officer from the county of Siaya he was killed by thugs who attacked him along with another officer while escorting exams at Mahero Secondary School.
This incident happened when the robbers who were armed with weapons attacked the two officers and the manager of the station.
The police report shows that the manager of the station managed to run to his safety while the two police officers were left in the hands of the robbers.
The robbers escaped with the officers' guns which are AK47 and MP5.
The body of the deceased was taken to the Siaya Referral Hospital mortuary.
According to the police, a search has been launched to track down the escaped criminals.
The information released showed that the two police officers and the station manager were dropped off by the bus near the school gate.
