According to witnesses, the fight broke out in the video hall where the fans were watching the game after Liverpool scored the equalizing goal in the 81st minute.

The gesture reportedly sparked controversy, which escalated after the game ended. Onan allegedly picked up a stick and beat Okello, who later succumbed to his injuries.

Kabale District Police Commander (DPC) Joseph Bakaleke confirmed that they are investigating the incident and noted that the suspect fled the scene.

“We received information indicating that the two boys who were supporters of two different teams had an argument and one of them hit the other. It is alleged that when one of them was brought to the hospital, he later met his wife when he was alone. death,” Bakaleke said.
