The body of Willis Ayieko, a Human Resources Manager at Wells Fargo, was discovered in a swamp in Sabatia, Siaya County, in what authorities describe as a brutal murder.

Ayieko's body was found with serious injuries, including head trauma, as confirmed by the Chief Government Pathologist Dr Johansen Oduor.
“The body was badly decomposed. We found injuries, blood, bruises on the wrist,” he said.
In addition, his hands were tied, and it is said that he did not have eyes, ears and other body parts.
Where was the suspect in the murder of Willis Ayieko arrested?
Following the gruesome discovery, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the suspect, Victor Ouma Okoth, on Monday night, October 28.
Okoth, who is also a resident of Siaya, was caught in a rented house in Dandora Phase IV, Nairobiwhere he was hiding.
Investigators revealed that before renting the Dandora property, Okoth allegedly withdrew KSh 100,000 from Ayieko's mobile money account in two shops. M-Money that area.
It is believed he used the money to rent and buy additional items.
Meanwhile, as the investigation continues, detectives are focusing on DNA evidence collected during the autopsy to determine relationship stable between Okoth and the killing of Ayieko.

“The day he came here we knew he was a guest, everything was new, the other day we saw government officials coming here,” said one neighbor.
“He came here around 10 pm with some things. We didn't know he was a murderer,” added another neighbor.
